The Rincon Power RER02 is a compact high voltage DC relay built for pre-charge and auxiliary DC control. It's a great fit for EV conversions and other DC control applications. It is rated for 1000V max switching voltage and has fast operate and release times. Continuous current depends on the size of the conductor connected to it: 20A with a 4mm² conductor (about 11 AWG), or 40A with a 13mm² conductor (about 6 AWG).

This relay is polarity sensitive. It has a 12V coil that uses 3W at nominal voltage, and it is available in two mounting options. The Bottom Mount (bolt-on) version requires no soldering. The PCB Mount version is soldered directly to a circuit board. Refer to the data sheet for soldering temperatures and times.
