About Fast and Quiet

Fast and Quiet, LLC is an electric vehicle conversion shop that was established in 2016. We convert vehicles to electric and sell and design electric vehicle parts that help customers build their dream projects and keep their vehicles on the road. We are part of the electric vehicle community providing information to make the conversion process as easy as possible.  Electric vehicles are our passion.  We take pride in sharing knowledge with new individuals learning how to build their own electric vehicles.  We believe that the use of electric vehicles will become commonplace in the future. 

Meet the team

Hunter Bristow - Co-owner

The first car Hunter converted to an electric vehicle was a GMC Sonoma while he was still in high school. After high school, he studied at Appalachian State University where he earned a BS in Sustainable Technology. During his college years, he designed and raced solar cars for the University as a part of Team Sunergy. As a team leader, he specialized in building and designing electrical systems and battery packs. During his time on the team, he competed in four different international competitions. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and spending time on the lake.

Chris Bristow - Co-owner

Chris is a graduate of Clemson University.  He earned his bachelor of science degree in Industrial Management which provided him with the skills required to organize efficient manufacturing processes.  He is skilled in working on anything mechanical.  Chris has also been a software developer for over 20 years.  He codes in several different languages including C, C++, C#, Java, and Python.  Chris has written a number of commercial products including software used in the pharmaceutical and the utility industry.  Chris enjoys staying current on world events and spending time with his family.
